Interns at the Behavioral Health Counseling Services at Palomar College are inviting students to its first virtual “Palomar Queer Camp.”
This event invites students to express their own “internal and external experiences” with conversations and interactive games. It is also an opportunity to learn about diversity within the LGBTQ community and network with fellow students.
“Participants can expect thought-provoking, self-reflective questions regarding our human experience with gender and sexuality,” said Jordan Hartman, who is a BHCS intern. “There will be silly games, a break-out room connection-fostering game, and an LGBTQIA+ knowledge game with prize money in the form of a $15 Starbucks gift card.”
The event will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 19 on Zoom.
Students may drop in and out any time. Click here to register.
