As Palomar College begins to cope with canceled in-person meetings, classes and events as a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Police Department remains present on school grounds.
As of March 17, Palomar officials announced that students will not be allowed on campus and classes have since moved online.
According to Palomar College Police Chief Christopher Moore, “the Palomar Police department will remain patrolling the Palomar College main campuses in San Marcos and the outside campuses in Fallbrook, Rancho Bernardo, and Escondido.”
However, the office on the campus be closed until further notice and has been officially closed since March 17th.
Police Chief Moore also shared that if students have parking citations, they can be paid through pticket.com/palomar to pay off any outstanding parking violations.
The Police department also will be live scanning finger prints, and background checks have also been delayed until further notice. If students need to request any police records, they can submit a request to [email protected]
