Any Palomar student who is interested in being involved with campus should attend the Associated Student Government meeting happening from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13.
Being a part of A.S.G comes with a lot of responsibilities such as serving for higher education, traveling, and promoting advocacy rights.
Students may start as a delegate or senator and can have the opportunity to be nominated as an executive board member.
There are requirements that must be followed in order to become an A.S.G. member.
Students must be enrolled in 7 units or more at Palomar.
Students must have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA or if students don’t have a college GPA they must have a 3.0 GPA in high school.
After completing all the eligibility requirements it is the students responsibility to email Kelly Donaghy, the Student Activities Coordinator: kdonaghy@palomar.edu.
If you are interested in joining or hearing what is happening in the Palomar community you can log on to zoom at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 13 using this link, or by using the meeting ID and password.
