Happy Monday Comets, we’ve hit week four of the fall semester and we’re all settled into our routines. To either help you on your Palomar journey or take a break from class, there are a bunch of virtual events going on over the next several days.
Live Counseling Q&A
The Counseling Department is holding an informational webinar with a live Q&A from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15 on Zoom. Counselors will be going over information in this presentation.
You can register for the session here with your Palomar email. Links to the Zoom meeting will not be provided to alternate email addresses. For more information, you can contact counseling at (760) 891-7511 or [email protected].
Arts and Crafts Workshop
Palomar’s Student Health Centers are inviting Comets to their interactive Self-Care Workshop from 3 to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17 on Zoom. Students can grab some paper and markers and wind down with the health care team in a calligraphy workshop.

“Real Talk” Sexual Health Discussion
The Student Health Centers are also teaming up with Planned Parenthood for a “Real Talk” sexual health discussion from 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 18 on Zoom. The session will focus on STI education.
Students can sign up here, and can call the center at (760) 891-7530 if they have any questions.
That’s it for today, fellow Comets. We hope everyone has a great week!
