As many people are receiving the COVID-19 vaccination, there have been some people who have experienced extreme effects.
According to Center for Disease Control (CDC), one of the effects include “severe allergic reactions,” which is known as “anaphylaxis.” The CDC recommends that people should not take the second dose of the vaccine if they are experiencing such allergies.
Palomar College students need to check with their doctors to see if they are qualified to take the vaccine.
For more information on the vaccine and COVID-19, contact the Palomar Student Health Center at (760) 891-7530. Hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
