One of the toughest decisions to be made before February 5 is to name your favorite Instructor, Librarian, or Counselor. It’s time to cast your ballot for the Distinguished Faculty Award. Palomar has so many dedicated staff that narrowing it down to one person will be difficult.
Once your ballot is received the nominee will submit the proper material used in their classroom. The finalists are then observed in the classroom before a decision is made.
The most outstanding faculty member will receive a plaque, recognition at a faculty luncheon, receive a #1,000 honorarium and will speak at commencement the following year. A candidate can only receive this honor once in their career.
