Recently Disney+ released a movie based on the “Phineas and Ferb” cartoon.
“Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against the Universe” focuses on Candace and Vanessa getting kidnapped by aliens. It is up to Candace’s brothers, Phineas and Ferb, to embark on a journey to rescue them. While they recruit their friends and team up with Dr. Doofenshmirtz, they have to work together to travel across the universe to get them back.
The movie retains the writing that was found in the original TV show, “Phineas and Ferb,” which starts with a return of the original cast. It revives the beloved musical segments that viewers can sing along with, and includes plenty of jokes for all ages in a new storyline.
However, the animation took a nosedive in quality and could be distracting because it could look just like the TV show.
Despite the drawback, viewers who grew up watching the original show may find this film worth watching, even if they have never seen an episode or the previous movie.
The movie still retains the charm from the original show while enhancing its best qualities. If you have the spare time, then I would recommend watching it.
