Once again, the time is creeping up on us once when children descend upon the streets like vampires in search of sweet sustenance. “Trick or treat!” and the sound of ringing doorbells echo through the night, while scary movies overtake the airwaves. How is it though, that ghosts and ghouls became associated with sweet treats and costumes?
