Palomar College will host its annual commencement ceremony May 20 at 5 p.m.
This year, students earned nearly 4,000 applications for associate’s degrees or certificates of achievement and the college is expecting more than 500 students to walk during the event.
Interim Palomar President Adrian Gonzales will conduct the ceremony. Cinema instructor, and 2014-2015 Distinguished Faculty Award winner, Garret Chaffin-Quiray, will also speak at the ceremony.
Students receiving degrees and certificates will meet at the Dome at 3:30 p.m.
The event will be held at the football field at the San Marcos campus and is open to the public.
