SOFTBALL

The Comets softball team continued its strong season this week, picking up three wins out of three with each of the victories coming by a safe margin. Palomar started out the week on the road at Saddleback College on Tuesday where pitcher Summer Evans complete-game performance coupled with a big day offensively for shortstop Khali Pugh and co. helped the Comets defeat the Gauchos 11-1, handing them their first loss of the season.

Palomar is now enjoying a 5-game win streak and with a record of 8-1-1 (2-0 conference) the squad can recharge until their next game at Grossmont College (4-5-1) on February 18th.
