Women’s Golf finishes fifth at tournament

Palomar women’s golf team finished fifth out of ninth at the Sept. 24 tournament. They scored a 359, while the lowest was College of the Desert at 322. The low scorer on the Palomar team was Jessica Campbell who shot an 84 according to Coach Mark Halda. The Comets competed on the Diamond Bar Golf Club, a 6001 yard course at par 73. The next tournament is an invitational scheduled at 10 a.m. on Sept. 28 at Morro Bay according to the Palomar athletics website.
