Littrell earns honors for women’s team

The women’s tennis team consisted entirely of freshman players except for sophomore Remy Littrell.

This season Littrell was named Pacific Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Year.

According to the Palomar official athletics website, on April 26 Littrell received the 2014 Region 1 Arthur Ashe Leadership and Sportsmanship Award for California Community College women’s tennis.

The team finished the season 2-10 in conference and 2-13 overall.

The all freshman men’s tennis team finished the season 5-9 for conference and 5-13 overall. Both the men and women’s team did not qualify for finals.
