Palomar College Alumni Malcolm McCassy, was the guest speaker at Palomar Fashion Merchandising and Design show MODA, at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido, Calif. on April 23, McCassy spoke about how Associate Professor and Fashion Merchandising Rita Campo Griggs was one of his motivators that encouraged him to fallow his dreams. He eventually developed his own trademark brand known as Ethika. The brand has become popular with in the hip-hop and extreme sports community, and has been worn by Lil John, Justin Bieber and Ryan Sheckler. Yolanda Granados/ The Telescope
