SAN MARCOS- Dr. Todd McDonald began work at Palomar College on January 23, 2023, as the new Assistant Superintendent/Vice President of Finance and Administrative Services.
Dr. McDonald is the former Associate Vice Chancellor of District Business Services at the Grossmont-Cuyamaca College District in El Cajon.
He obtained his Doctorate in Education (Ed.D) from Ferris State University in Michigan and has certificates and awards for public service.
He began his career in the private sector in the Midwest before moving to public service where he decided to remain. “There was meaning behind the work I was doing,” he says.
His new role involves many departments including Business and Contract Services, Campus Police, Facilities, Fiscal Services, and Information Services.
“I’m looking forward to being part of the team that sets the tone for the next 75 years at Palomar College.” Dr. McDonald said.
