The Palomar Athletics Department has chosen Quincy Scott and Deajanae Harvey as the Comets of the Week.

Via Instagram, the Palomar Athletics Department chooses student athletes that have made recent outstanding achievements. Comet of the Week is a way to congratulate and recognize those students. Click here to view this week’s post.

Quincy Scott, #40, is an outfielder on the Palomar baseball team. He has been chosen because he made major plays against the teams recent opponents, Fullerton College and Glendale College.

Scott gained an RBI, a walk, a stolen base, and achieved his first double hit of the season against the Fullerton Hornets.

To view the schedule and more information on the baseball team, visit the Palomar Athletics website, or visit the Twitter account for the Comet baseball team.

Deajanae Harvey, #14, is a guard on the women’s basketball team. She has been chosen because she has been a crucial athlete to the team.

In a game against San Diego City College she managed to rack up 17 points, five rebounds, five assists, and eight steals.

With only two games left, the lady Comets are on a 11-game winning steak. The schedule and more information on the women’s basketball team can be found on the Palomar College Athletics Department website.
