Palomar College District Governing Board seeks for new provisional appointee.
SAN MARCOS – Palomar Community College District Governing board is looking for a provisional appointee to fill the Area 4 seat of former Board President Brian Olson. Olson’s resignation will be effective on Friday, September 10, 2021.
The new appointee will be selected by Friday, October 8, 2021, and hold office until the next scheduled election of Governing Board members on November 8, 2021.
Qualified candidates must be a resident and registered voter of the school district, and must be clear of convictions. More information, along with the application form, can be found on the Palomar website. Applicants can also submit an optional one-page letter of interest addressed to the Governing Board.
The application deadline is 4:30 pm on Friday, September 17, 2021. Interviews are scheduled to be held during a public board meeting on Tuesday, September 21, 2021.
