On Sept. 8 and 9, the Escondido Center of Palomar College will host a blood drive sponsored by Health Services and the Emergency Medical Service Club. The Emergency Medical Service clubs’ main purpose is child development, but they also support many other community outreach projects with Palomar College. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the first parking lot, the Red Cross will be taking volunteers who have signed up prior to give blood. The volunteers will receive a Sports Clip coupon for a free Varsity haircut. Sign up by contacting Red Cross representative Paige Brusso or by the Red Cross website.
