SAN MARCOS — The Palomar College Black Faculty and Staff Association (PBFSA) will be hosting the annual Black History Month Fair, Feb. 4.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Palomar Student Union.
It will serve as an opportunity to learn about and support Black history, as well as the programs and departments impacted.
The PBFSA was founded in May 2020 after the summer protests resulting from the killings of unarmed black civilians. The PBFSA serves to push for “authentic structural changes” as well as providing a safe space for black students, faculty and staff here at Palomar.
Later during the month, PBFSA will be holding a workshop from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m on Feb. 24th in LRC 438.
