Don’t miss the Recycled Materials Runway Event 6 to 9 p.m. on Sept. 27 at Lexus’s The Centre at Moonlight Veranda in Escondido. Hosted by the Escondido Municipal Art Gallery, the event will feature a photo booth, an eco-friendly trunk show, and art installations that have been influenced by landfill objects.

There will be three separate runway shows, which begin at 7:15 p.m. They will feature designs from Lux Ave, Bulldogge & co., and garments and accessories that individual designers have crafted from repurposed items. An auction will be held, in which you can enter to win various sports and concert tickets and a shopping spree with a personal shopper and beauty consultant. Whitney Southwick, NBC 7 News reporter, will be the emcee for the event.

There is a suggested donation of $35, but there is also an option to purchase a VIP package that includes dinner, dessert, wine, and reserved cabana seating for $200. The VIP dinner will begin at 6 p.m. in the cabanas.
