Palomar Sinks Pirates in Playoff Sweep

SAN MARCOS — Palomar’s softball team took on the Ventura College Pirates and won back-to-back games highlighted by a 11-1 ending on May 2.

 

With Palomar leading 11-1 after the fifth inning they sealed the early-game win by mercy rule, securing triumph for the Comets.

This victory marked a 27-game win streak for the Comets, and they will now face Antelope Valley in a best-of-three series on May 8-9 at Palomar College.
