Past Week in Palomar Sports 3/23-3/28

VOLLEYBALL (6-7; 4-6 conference)

The Comets lost to PCAC co-leaders Irvine Valley 3-1 on Wednesday, March 25 at the Dome. Jacob Stokes led with 11 kills in 18 attempts. Palomar was up late in the first set but couldn’t hold on and lost 26-24. They bounced back in the third winning 25-17 but were defeated in the fourth and final set 25-18.

On Friday the Comets traveled to Mesa College where they lost in 4 sets; 26-24, 18-25, 20-25, 18-25. Palomar next plays on Wednesday, April 1 when they travel to Golden West college for their PCAC match.
