Palomar will be showing the talent within the student body at the Black Student Alliance hosted talent show.

Magicians, singers and dancers are just a few of the different acts among those signed on to perform at 6 p.m. on Nov. 18 in room D-6. There will be an admission fee of three dollars at the door with a flyer and five dollars at the door without.

This will be the first BSA talent show at Palomar College. The event has been sponsored by the Associated Student Government and all proceeds will go towards the BSA’s Black History Month event for the spring 2012 semester.

“Our talent show (was) open to the community, not just Palomar students,” Evan Wells, BSA President, said. “We got a lot of amateur performers and we got a lot of performers that have been around. Some of the spoken word artists have been around for a minute.”

Besides the performances at the talent show, students should know that there will be a raffle with $50 gift cards among the prizes.
