Palomar’s women’s golf team is headed to the state championships after placing second in the Southern California Community College Championship, according to Palomar’s athletics website.
The championships will be held on Nov. 14 and 15 at Kings Country Club in Hanford, Calif. They will join Glendale Community College, Sacramento City College, and Modesto Junior College in the fight for the state championship.
The Comets’ record is 75-4, 30-0 in conference play.
