Michel Doneda, soprano saxophonist and originally from France, is an internationally respected performer with an extensive musical vocabulary in free improvisation. He is performing in a duo with Tatsuya Nakatani at the Howard Brubeck Theatre, Palomar College, Nov. 5. They will travel through out the U.S. on a multiple state tour with over 50 performances. Tatsuya Nakatani, solo percussionist and music collaborator, performs in a duo with soprano saxophonist, Michel Doneda, at Howard Brubeck Theatre, Palomar College, Nov. 5. Nakatani is an international performer originally from Osaka, Japan whom has released over sixty recordings throughout his solo and collaborative career with the addition of workshops, masterclasses and lectures throughout the USA. The Palomar/Pacific Coast Concert Band explores how math, chemistry, and physics are all employed in the emotional impact of music. How does a particular harmony, melody or rhythm affect us in profound ways? Coleen Burnham/The Telescope

The Performing Arts gallery showcases some of the performing arts events, both theatrical and musical, that have taken place at Palomar College during the Fall 2015 semester.

These events include Concert Hour and various productions held in the Howard Brubeck Theatre and Studio Theater.
